Excitement for March!

Anybody excited for March? I know I am!

Especially with the blog series I'll be doing! :~D

Starting March 1st, and continuing throughout every day in March, I shall be doing a photo essay called:

"People of Jordan"

I figured that a fun way to start, would be to introduce you to Booker Bramley. He lives at Jordan Bramley Library. He's been at the library for several months now. He loves attention! He also enjoys sitting on the desk, perching on top of the book shelves, and curling up in the reading chair in the children's section.

Throwback Tuesday: Shirley Temple

With a heart warming smile, Shirley Temple was one of America's Little Princesses.

My favorite movies with her include, The Little Princess, The Story of Seabiscuit, The Littlest Rebel, The Little Colonel, and a few others. She didn't just act, dance and sing, she also was an ambassador to Ghana and Czechoslovakia.

"I stopped believing in Santa Claus when I was six. Mother took me to see him in a department store and he asked for my autograph." --- Shirley Temple

Raindrops

Yesterday was a rainy, dreary day.

Actually that's only part of it.

Yesterday was a day of rain drops.

A Blank Post

As I sit here typing: I am marring the stillness of a blank post.

Keys typing black letters upon a stark white, blank post.

Blank posts make one feel refreshed.

Yet now this post is not blank.

This post is starting to be filled.

Filled with words, thoughts, hopes, and dreams.

That is what has occurred to my blog.

I started off with a blank post.

And then I started to fill the blog with words, thoughts, hopes and dreams.

I never knew I'd still be blogging this.

I never knew that this would be one of the best things I've decided to keep doing.

Yet the blank post that started it all, is no longer blank.

It it is marred with love, family, friends, thoughts, dreams, hopes, and words.

Now it's no longer marred.

Now it's beautiful.

Now it's no longer blank.

Now it's filled with love.

Sometimes a blank post is all you need.

The Subject Of Selfies

Once upon a time, in 2002, the word selfie was used for the first time. Now it's synonymous with crazy pictures of oneself. It's very popular among teenage girls. The first picture is a selfie.

This is a typical selfie. It has a deadpan look, it's of oneself, and it's pretty boring if you think about it.

Now a selfie is not the only type of selfie there is. There is also a felfie, when a farmer takes a picture of oneself and farm animals.

But what if we had a revolutionary kind of selfie?

Wait for it.............

This is the best idea since sliced bread............

How about a welfie???? Winslow/selfie ;~)

It's a revolutionary idea, don't you think????????

Winslow and his Frozen obsession

Remember when we took Winslow to see Frozen?

He loved it so much, that he asked T-tot to make him an Elsa castle.

She did a good job, don't you think?

Icicles

Drip, drop, drip drop.

Icicles drip.

They drip slowly.

They drip quickly.

They drip abstractly.

They drip straight.

Icicles hang.

Hang and drip.

Drip, drop, drip, drop.

Slowly and quickly.

Abstract and straight.

Funky shapes.

Funky sizes.

Around the ivy.

Through the ivy.

Over the ivy.

Under the ivy.

Icicles.

Drip and drop.

Drop and drip.

Icicles.

Drip, drop, drip, drop.

Winslow

A shadowy figure lurks as the snow falls. Who could it possibly be? Who would dare to be out in this snowy weather? Who would lurk as the snow piles high? Who enjoys the cold?

Only one possible person.....

...Winslow...

Narnia

“This is the land of Narnia,' said the Faun,

'where we are now; all that lies between the lamp-post

and the great castle of Cair Paravel on the eastern sea.”
