Coffee Shop #6

Rise and Grind is new in the scene! It opened up in November I believe.

Inside they have bookshelves, a fire place, cute places to gab, and of course, coffee! Here they serve Cafe Kubal. 

The crew working on some yummy drinks, and food!

Mom and I rose "early" on Saturday so we could do a little bit of belated Christmas/early Three Kings Day shopping without kiddos. 

She got a hot cocoa, and I got a cup of Guatemalan which is my faborite Kubal medium roast.

For breakfast they offer a few features that change. That day I had a delicious oatmeal topped with fruit and Mom had prosciutto toast. All in all, a great girls morning out!

Coffee Shop #3

Salt City Coffee Roasters is new on the Coffee Shop scene. So far everything we've tried, we liked!!

Been there a handful of times...on a mommy-daughter date, and even for John's birthday! Although he got lemonade as he isn't a coffee person. The poor dear.

So much to choose from!

This time mom wanted hot coffee so she had their Costa Rica roast, and I had my favorite there, 'Cuselandia! It is cold brew, milk, and salted caramel. It is quite delicious! I've also had their black cherry mocha which is really good. All in all a great stop when we are near by! 😊

We got a new stove!

We got a new stove this weekend!

This is our old one, it was about 32 years old. :)

Our new one! Isn't it purty???

Today we decided to try out the oven. :)

We made cookies! 

For the cookies we used:

2 bananas

1 cup of quick oats

1/2 cup of chocolate chips

1 tb of peanut butter

Mix, mold into balls and bake at 350* for 10-15 minutes. 

We LOVE our new stove!
