March Musings - Day 28

When a cute little curly-haired girl comes in and asks to go on a walk to see the sunset on a cloudy night, don't resist.

You may find a rabbit hole, and get chased by the imaginary rabbit. The imaginary dog will smell it and come chasing you too! 

Or you may be a detective sneaking around on tip toe around the town!

Or maybe you'll find a mountain to climb, and when you reach the top you get blown away by the wind!
 

Or you might even get attacked by a sneaky bush! 

No, never ignore a chance to go see the sunset on a cloudy day! Especially when a cute curly-haired girl goes with you! 

Beautiful Blessings - 8/15/16

~ eating swiss chard and thinking of my friend who is missing it right now

~ wishing I could be a kitty and live at the library

~ seeing beautiful pictures in a puddle

~ and seeing a completely different one from another angle

~ looking up to see rippled clouds in a blue sea

~ a sun dog - a tiny rainbow of hope

The Sunset

The sunlight laced the trees, 

so I ran down the stairs and out the door

so that I could snap a picture of the trees that seemed to be etched into the sky.

It was breathtaking!

When I came back in, I stood at the kitchen window, and all I could see was depressingly grey clouds. "If the clouds weren't in the way," I grumbled, "it would be a stunning sunset! Psalm 19:1 came to mind, but I kinda pushed the thought aside. A few minutes passed, and I glanced out the window to this:

It was breathtaking!

On my way back in from taking the pictures, I whispered to God, "I guess you proved me wrong!" As soon as I came in and made it back to the window, the sunset had disappeared entirely.

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.

Beautiful Blessings - 8/22/15

~ Spending the morning rhyming with a friend. The smiles on my part never did end. I suppose y'all find that quite queer, but for me, I fear, there is someone even better than that. My Mommy dear, who can rhyme things at the drop of the hat! Isnt she great? I shall have to accept my fate as second best. And now for the rhyming, I shall give it a rest. ;~)

~ Enjoying a lovely snack of a tomato and a mushroom! And....playing with the mushroom ;~)

~ Finding a flowering sunflower in the sun!

~ The moon <3 Its just about half full!

~ Beautiful heat-lightning.....God's fireworks! Twas a beautiful coral color!

Beautiful Blessings - 7/18/15

~ Spotting windmills!

~ Spotting magnificent clouds!

~ Spotting the piggy rock!

~ Spotting the mountains!

~ Spotting Indian Lake!

Majestic Clouds!

 While running some errands yesterday, I spotted these magnificent clouds!

But I must admit, the pictures my Mom took of the clouds, later that day, were 10x more amazing!

Storm clouds are truly majestic!
