At The Lake

Nothing like a day at the lake to relive memories, see your old campsite, and make new memories. To enjoy fellowship with people from your home church who also attend your camping church, and the general camaraderie that follows.

Beautiful Blessings - 8/4/16

~ on the upswing except for my cough

~ ballooning our friend's front door to wish him a happy birthday (it was a surprise!!)

~ visiting a friend at work

~ splurging to bless others just cause you love them

~ fighting with T-bug over John

~ eating dinner by the lake with my family

~ and enjoying the view with John

~ cute coasters to add to my hope chest that John and I found on a date to Walmart for cat food XD (we go on very exciting dates lol!)

~ knowing no matter what, God is good, faithful, loving, and just!

Beautiful Blessings - 8/8/15

~ Meeting people that we only knew by name and not in person!

~ Making new friends...something my sisters love doing!

~ Spending a beautiful afternoon on the shore of Oneida Lake!

~ Seeing the sailboats enjoying the afternoon as well!

~ Watching my sisters catch fish with my friend's Grandpa. They were having a blast! They caugh a perch, a smallmouth bass, and who knows what else!

~ Seeing the magazine rack/side table repurposed.

~ Curling up with Lil' G when we woke up this morning as we were freezing!

~ Encouraging T-bug to go in the water up to her waist.

~ Picking fresh blueberries and raspberries....mmmmm! So delicious!!

~ Seeing our first couple loons on Lake Abanakee.

~ Hearing the first loon(s) on Lake Abanakee while we were by our campfire last night.

~ Going to the beach for the first time this trip.

~ Picking fresh blueberries! I can never decided if sun-warmed blueberries or shade-cooled blueberries taste best....I shall have to keep testing them ;~)

~ Delicious pickled things from home! Pickled eggs, pickled beets, pickled radishes, and sauerkraut!

~ Watching chipmunks scurry around and chase each other.
