Bethany, from Liberty or Death, nominated me for the Liebster award! Unfortunately I have no one to pass it on to...but nevertheless I can answer her questions! :~) So here we go!

1.  Would you share a favorite quote and a favorite Bible verse?

My favorite quote would be this: When we love a person, we accept him or her exactly as is: the lovely with the unlovely, the strong along with the fearful, the true mixed in with the facade, and of course, the only way we can do it is by accepting ourselves that way. -- Fred Rogers

My favorite bible verse? I have too many.... I'd have to say 1 Corinthians 16:14 Let all that you do be done in love.

(And if anyone really knows me, they'll know I stole both of those off my email signature ;~)

2.  What would you like to accomplish before the year is over?

I'd like to finish going through the Bible again. I'm in Isaiah now.

3.  What is your ancestry (e.g. German, Italian)?

Off the top of my head, all I can remember is Welsh, and Chickasaw/Choctaw.

4.  What is your favourite genre of music?

I'm currently in love with hymns!

5.  Do you have a favorite bird or flower?

Roses!! :~D

6.  What is the most encouraging thing anyone has ever told you/or that you've ever read?

Probably the sweet scrapbook with pictures, quotes, and notes from my friends that I received for my birthday.

7.  What is your go-to meal for when you need to cook something quickly?

Toasted/grilled cheese!

8.  Do you have a favorite word?

Yep! ;~)

9.  What is your favorite tv series?

Get Smart with Don Adams and Barbara Feldon!

10. If you could have a gift card to any clothing store, including online, what would it be for?

Dress Barn, I think...I like their skirts and dresses.

11. If I were to visit you in your hometown, what would be the first place you'd want me to see?

The lovely walk through town to the bank, post office, and library. Then we'd swing by the Antique Store since I know you love antiques! :~D

1.  If you could have an expenses-paid vacation to anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? 

Hmm, probably France. I'd probably go with my Mom. Why would we go to France? To see the beautiful countryside, enjoy fresh bread and cheese we've never had before, and of course to explore Paris!

2.  What would you like to accomplish by the end of 2015?

Good question! I'm not sure actually. I didn't make any goals this year. I'd probably have to say finding ways to serve and grow my Faith.

3.  If you had a million dollars, how would you use it?

Ah, I've had the same answer for the past several years! $400,000 would go to New Hope Family Services, $300,000 would go to Samaritan's Purse, $200,000 would go to Make A Wish. and $100,000 would be set aside for blessing others. 

4.  What are your favorite foods?

Cranberry sauce, biscuits, and dried coconut!

Put God first above all else. Love and serve others everyday. Take time to read God's word and pray as often as you can!

Wegmans! lol I love Wegmans!

8.  What is your dream car and your dream home?

I don't have either actually. I'm content to wait and see what God provides. :~)

9.  What languages can you speak?

A smidge of French, that's barely a smidge, and I have a smidge of knowledge of Latin.

10.  What sayings can you think of that people quote as Bible verses without realizing they're not in the Bible?

The golden rule, "Do to others as you would have others do to you."comes to mind. (Luke 6:31)

When a book makes you laugh, cry, and want to squeeze a pillow all at once, then it's a good book!

2. What are three of your talents?

Dancing, singing, and teaching!

3. What's your favorite girl's name?

I like the names Cheryl, Lynn, Rose, Rosalinda, etc.! :~)

4. Boy's name?

Hmmm.....I like names that start with E-L-I.....

5. What books have made you cry?

Usually true stories in which one person overcomes obstacles and becomes stronger in the end.

6. What's your favorite Bible verse?

Probably.....Isaiah 64:8 :~)

7. Favorite prayer?

I memorized Ephesians 3:14-21 a while back. I encourage you to read this prayer, written by Paul to the Church in Ephesus!
