But its not a typical obligatory Valentine's day post! This is a post about what love is:

...clearing out the driveway for your Dad!

...your Dad going to the post so you can get a valentine you're waiting for!

...having a friend let you cry because it wasnt there...

...opening an unexpected letter from a different friend...and seeing their love for you!

...and grinning because God provided stamps for your R.L.O.E.s!!!

...finding a heart God sent you to remind you that youre loved and blessed!

People of Jordan: Winslow

Now you may be thinking..........whoa........wait a minute. Winslow is not a people. And you are absolutely correct. But Booker Bramley isn't a people either, nor is Millie! Due to life, I am not able to get a picture for today. So I decided to post a picture of Winslow. Last week we got at least 17 inches of snow, probably more, in one day. That's what I love about Jordan: by the next day everything was plowed and the sidewalks were cleared! If you haven't figured it out already, everybody loves Jordan! Even Winslow!

It's a blizzard!

Though I must say, the snow is quite elegant! :~D

 Though I don't think it's as elegant on me. ;~)

 A shadowy figure lurks as the snow falls. Who could it possibly be? Who would dare to be out in this snowy weather? Who would lurk as the snow piles high? Who enjoys the cold? 

Only one possible person.....

Meet Winslow

I realized today that you guys haven't met Winslow!

This is Winslow. He is a furby on the curby, looking for anything decorated in a special way. 

He also likes making friends.

He loves the great outdoors, but will stay inside when it is chilly and snowy.

One of his favorite colors is red, just like a hydrant.

Christmas is his favorite holiday.

Especially when there are cookies to eat!

He enjoys going out and about.

From ice skating, to watching Frozen at a theater, he enjoys being busy.

He loves the carousel.

He loves going on adventures.

Especially surprise ones!

And at the end of the day, he's ready to treat others to a snack.

All in all, we love Winslow.

Today he pitched in and helped shovel.

And he was rewarded with a new winter hat.

Our Weekend Blizzard

We have almost a foot of snow from this weekends "blizzards". I'd forgotten how pretty the snow is!!!!!!!! :~D I truly don't have any favorite season because they are all unique and I love them for different ways! Enough of that, want to see the snow? :~)

This was the first gust/blizzard of snow. We were sitting on the couch, watching the Sugar Creek Gang and the Great Canoe Fish on Saturday when I glanced out the window and this is the sight that greeted me!

Around bedtime, the snow was still falling.

Sunday morning was cold, and snowy. The roads weren't very good and we haven't put our snow tires on yet, so we stayed home. Which is good cause there were nasty blizzards throughout the day. One occurred while Dad was out getting some groceries. From the time he left to the time he got home we easily got a couple inches.

Good Morning! Snow!!! And a pretty sunrise. ;)

The skies are clouding over today; but the roads are better. We probably have 8-10 inches.

And that is our weekend blizzard!
