One year ago, I received my pointe shoes.
In the past year I have gotten the strengthened my muscles to dance on them for long periods of time. I even choreographed a dance that required me to be on my pointes for two and a half consecutive minutes. And now I have gotten even stronger than that. (I noticed from a video from June on my pointes that I have improved in technique, strength and grace.)
I danced the this year in and will dance this year out! :~)
