Forever Reign

You are good You are good
When there’s nothing good in me
You are love You are love
On display for all to see

You are light You are light
When the darkness closes in
You are hope You are hope
You have covered all my sin

You are peace You are peace
When my fear is crippling
You are true You are true
Even in my wandering

You are joy You are joy
You’re the reason that I sing
You are life You are life
In You death has lost it’s sting

Oh I’m running to Your arms
I’m running to Your arms
The riches of Your love
Will always be enough
Nothing compares to Your embrace
Light of the world forever reign

You are more You are more
Than my words will ever say
You are Lord You are Lord
All creation will proclaim

You are here You are here
In Your presence I’m made whole
You are God You are God
Of all else I’m letting go

My heart will sing
No other Name
Jesus
Jesus

Eccentric Delishiousness

Dad brought some Timbits home yesterday.

He picked me up from Grandma's and we brought them home.

When we went inside, I went straight for my favorite plain glazed donut.

As I munched on a couple, I commented that these are my favorite donuts.

Dad looked up from where he was standing and said, "Those are the old-fashioned glaze."

I stood there think and replied "It is eccentric, just like me!!"

I'm eccentric:

I read all the time.

I have a garden.

I wear long skirts and dresses.

I wear 50's hats.

I wear 50's dresses.

I take pictures of donuts with glasses, bringing some people back to the California Raisins with glasses.

I keep a good old fashioned diary.

I love to cook.

I wear ballet shoes to bed, no joke, I did last night.

I have long-ish hair.

I count my blessings instead of sheep.

I love old movies and old tv shows.

I'm extremely eccentric, eclectic and overly weird. (Just ask my friends, though I am usually sensible. ;~)

So when ever I eat a old fashioned donut, I'll eat it with pride:

"It is eccentric, just like me!!"

I mean how many other bloggers blog about bundling kitties for the cold and donuts with sunglasses??

A God-given blessing

Let me start off with the fact I have an awesome dance teacher!

She is the one in the white dress, and I am in the yellow. (The other 2 are my 2 of my 4 dance teachers.)

She is a the best teacher I ever had!

So yesterday, she asked me if I would help her out with a dance project. I agreed.

She wanted me to set up a dance library one of the dressing rooms. Loving books and loving dance, I was thrilled to help out. She would get the book shelves ready and then I would set it up and keep an eye on things.

Books and dance go hand in hand.

Just as I was about to walk out the door she told me

"This will cover your tuition for the rest of the dance year."

So THANK YOU SO MUCH, Ms. Colleen!

WackyWednesday: Bundled for the cold

Un magazine de mode chat: pour des chats de style

(A Cat Fashion magazine: for styling cats :-D)

You can bundle your kitties against the cold using outfit A. A is a contemporary winter look.

A is a baby hat and a polar fleece scarf to keep the kitties toasty warm. You can also provide a wool blanket for the kitties' tummies to stay warm.

The next possibility for a warm fuzz ball is outfit B. B is a classic look.

B is a black beret so the little fuzzie ears will stay warm when they parade around down with the kute kats.

The last option is the one designed by our fur-ball fashion designer, outfit C.

C is a outfit that reflects the inner fur-ball.

Yup, he is a furry chicken, just in disguise...shhhhhhh....

Friends

Can you imagine life with out friends?

It would be nearly impossible!

Do something for your friends today!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Welcome to

May God bless you this year!

Proverbs 9:11
For through wisdom your days will be many,
and years will be added to your life.

Best wishes from my family to yours!

Psalm 65

For the director of music. A psalm of David. A song.

1 Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion;
to you our vows will be fulfilled.
2 You who answer prayer,
to you all people will come.
3 When we were overwhelmed by sins,
    you forgave our transgressions.
4 Blessed are those you choose
and bring near to live in your courts!
We are filled with the good things of your house,
    of your holy temple.
5 You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds,
    God our Savior,
the hope of all the ends of the earth
    and of the farthest seas,
6 who formed the mountains by your power,
    having armed yourself with strength,
7 who stilled the roaring of the seas,
    the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil of the nations.
8 The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders;
where morning dawns, where evening fades,
you call forth songs of joy.
9 You care for the land and water it;
    you enrich it abundantly.
The streams of God are filled with water
to provide the people with grain,
for so you have ordained it.
10 You drench its furrows and level its ridges;
you soften it with showers and bless its crops.
11 You crown the year with your bounty,
and your carts overflow with abundance.
12 The grasslands of the wilderness overflow;
the hills are clothed with gladness.
13 The meadows are covered with flocks
    and the valleys are mantled with grain;
they shout for joy and sing.

2013....tomorrow?!?!?!?!

Wow.

One year ago, I received my pointe shoes.

In the past year I have gotten the strengthened my muscles to dance on them for long periods of time. I even choreographed a dance that required me to be on my pointes for two and a half consecutive minutes. And now I have gotten even stronger than that. (I noticed from a video from June on my pointes that I have improved in technique, strength and grace.)

I danced the this year in and will dance this year out! :~)

Help a family in need!!!!!!!

Our friends Erica and Andrew have a little boy named Liam who needs help!

About Liam!

Liam was born December 29, 2011 to his amazing mommy and daddy, Erica and Andrew. Liam's start to life wasn't easy with two fractured legs, so he spent his newborn days in casts. Now that he's older, they have more of an understanding of what he has, but still no real idea of how Liam's mobility will be impacted.
Liam was born with a rare disorder called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita in his lower extremities.  Arthrogryposis or AMC for short.  He also has Muscular Dystrophy in his lower extremities. Clubbed feet that was finally corrected on Sept. 14th 2012.  And finally bilateral (both sides) Hip Dysplasia.
We're not sure if Liam will be able to crawl or walk, so your generous gift will help towards Liam's mobility!!
You can read more of Liams story here! http://liamsfootprintsoflove.blogspot.com/

What We Need

Since Liam doesn't have use of his legs to walk, this little guy needs a way to get around. The ZipZac is a small seat with wheels (it looks like a mini wheelchair!!) that will allow Liam the freedom and mobility to explore and be a child!
Read more about the ZipZac here!! www.zipzac.com

The Impact

As an almost one year old, it would be so amazing for Liam to be able to explore his surroundings and be a mobile child! I know this would be an absolutely amazing gift for Liam.

Please help them out! They only have 40

hours left to raise the money!

To donate go to:

http://www.indiegogo.com/zipzacforliam

Wouldn't this make a great birthday present

for Liam's birthday today???

2013 is almost here?!?!?!?!

As I told one of my friends,

"The only year that will feel short is the year you get taller than me."

What is your goals for 2013?

Mine are:
  • To grow more like God.
  • To increase my abilities in dance.
  • To work harder to become a better teacher.
  • To have patience always.
  • To help out around the house more.

Snow - A Blizzard

A couple feet of snow, a snowy fence, snow 1 foot high at the peak of the roof, snow: tiny, heavy flakes fluttering down in an all night streak.

It was, it is, and it shall be a White Christmas.

It was a White Christmas when a snow patch started up when we were getting presents under the tree at 1:00am Christmas morning.

It is a White Christmas if you are still in the Christmas season, counting down to 3 Kings day, also known as Epiphany  (January 6)

It shall be a White Christmas is you are part of the Eastern Church and celebrate Christmas on the 6th, 7th, or 19th of January.

Snow.

Snow.

Snow.

Job 37:6

He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’
and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’

One snowflake is different than every other.

Each a showing of one of God's masterpieces, snow.

A cold, frozen, soft rain.

Snow; noun
1.
Meteorology . a precipitation in the form of ice crystals, mainlyof intricately branched, hexagonal form and often agglomeratedinto snowflakes, formed directly from the freezing of the watervapor in the air. Compare ice crystals, snow grains, snow pellets.
2.
these flakes as forming a layer on the ground or other surface.
3.
the fall of these flakes or a storm during which these flakes fall.
4.
something resembling a layer of these flakes in whiteness, softness, or the like: the snow of fresh linen.

1.precipitation from clouds in the form of flakes of ice crystals formed in the upper atmosphere
2.a layer of snowflakes on the ground
3.a fall of such precipitation
4.anything resembling snow in whiteness, softness, etc
5.the random pattern of white spots on a television or radar screen,produced by noise in the receiver and occurring when the signal is weak or absent

Precipitation that falls to earth in the form of ice crystals that have complex branched hexagonal patterns. Snow usually falls from stratus and stratocumulus clouds, but it can also fall from cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds.

Snow definition in the Bible

Common in Palestine in winter (Ps. 147:16). The snow on the tops of the Lebanon range is almost always within view throughout the whole year. The word is frequently used figuratively by the sacred writers (Job 24:19; Ps. 51:7; 68:14; Isa. 1:18). It is mentioned only once in the historical books (2 Sam. 23:20). It was "carried to Tyre,Sidon, and Damascus as a luxury, and laborers sweltering in the hot harvest-fields used it for the purpose of cooling the water which they drank (Prov. 25:13; Jer. 18:14). No doubt Herod Antipas, at his feasts in Tiberias, enjoyed also from this very source the modern luxury of ice-water.

SNOW!
