Let it Snow: a parody of Let it Go

"Let It Snow"

The snow glows white in Jordan today
Not a crocus to be seen
A kingdom of icy flowers,
And it looks like I’m the queen.

The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
It's New York, what do you expect?

Don’t let them wilt, don’t let them die
Watch the daffodils with your eye
Protect, collect, don’t let them freeze
Well, now they're froze!

Let it snow, let it snow
Can’t hold it back anymore
Let it snow, let it snow
Turn away and slam the door

I don’t care
What they’re going to say
Let the storm rage on,
The cold never bothered me anyway

It’s funny how some distance
Makes everything seem small
And the flowers that are so frozen
Won't wilt inside the house

It’s time to see what I can do
To cut the flowers and bring them in
No right, no wrong, no wilting for me
No freeze

Let it snow, let it snow
I'll the snow fall from the sky
Let it snow, let it snow
The flowers will be safe inside

They're in the vase
And here they'll stay
Let the storm rage on

My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I’m happy the flowers are in,
Cause the snow won't come in

Let it snow, let it snow
And I'll rise at the break of dawn
Let it snow, let it snow
The perfect flowers are in

Here they'll stand
In the light of a lamp
Let the storm rage on,
The flowers are safe in the house.
