Throwback Tuesday: A Vintage "Vinter" Hat

This is a fun vintage "vinter" hat! It was made by the Rose Co. in Rochester N.Y.! I can't seem to find much about this company, but I have seen things made by them before. Hats are such a fun way to learn about the history of fashion!

  1. Very nice vintage find! My local thrift store has a rack of vintage hats for 5 dollars a piece. Some are quite lovely, but I've never bought any because I wasn't sure where/when I'd ever wear them. For me, hats are a matter of practicality: do they keep my ears warm in the winter or protect me from a sunburn in the summer? Perhaps I should spend more time thinking from the aesthetic perspective.

    1. If you do, you'll definitely enjoy wearing them! It's rather fun, if I do say so myself! :~)
